I'm missing Romania again. I miss it often and when I do I comfort myself by looking at pictures. The other night I was going through my external hard drive and I came across some pictures of little baby Larisa. She became an orphan when her mom died giving birth to her. It's a very sad story but I know that God has a plan for this little girl and I know that because she was blessed to be in the care of
ROCK ministries. I often wonder what kind of homes and families these babies will end up with and all I can do is pray and trust that God is taking care of them. It's a hard thing to do when I am so many miles away and have no control, but for now that is all I can do. I have to be grateful for the time that God has allowed me to be with these precious babies and look forward to a day when I can hold and squeeze them again.

Bath time is one of my favorite times of the day when in Romania. We get to bathe the babies, dress them and then feed them their breakfast as we hold them in our arms. You see the
ROCK staff is not allowed to stay over night in the hospital. Which means that many times the babies are not held or changed through out the night. It really is heart breaking to know that these babies are all alone.

This is Jessica, I met her on my last trip two years ago. She has now become one of my closest friends. She too fell in love with the babies. I am so glad that I have close friends that not only have a heart for Romania but have also shared the experience with me. Jessica, I am truly thankful to God for bringing you into my life for such a time as this. I love you sora!!! (sora means sister in Romania)
